A couple lost at least P35,000 worth of cash and gadgets to two armed men, who robbed them last Saturday in barangay Poblacion, Carmen town in northern Cebu.

Redford Bacante and his wife, Crysta Mae, told police that they had just disembarked from a bus and were walking toward their house when two armed men on a motorcycle stopped near them.

The couple said that the backrider got off and pointed his .45 caliber pistol at them and declared a holdup.

The robbers took P19,000 cash, two cell phones worth P4,000 each, a digital camera worth P8,000, their ID cards and keys to their house.

Police are still investigating the incident.
