Visayanian staffers alumni, UV Law Class ’63 to hold Sinulog gathering
THE members of the Visayanian Staffers Alumni Association Inc. (VSAAI) and the University of the Visayas Law Class ’63 will jointly hold their annual Sinulog gathering at noon on January 15, at the Ecotech Center in sitio Sudlon, barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
The members of the association of former staffers of The Visayanian, official publication of the University of the Visayas, are retired Court of Appeals Cebu Executive Justice Portia Aliño-Hormachuelos, who is now dean of the UV Gullas Law School; Jerry Tundag, publisher of The Freeman; lawyer Pachico Seares, public and standards editor and columnist of Sun.Star Cebu; columnists and broadcast personalities lawyers Frank Malilong, Elias Espinoza and Eddie Barrita of Sun.Star Cebu and Super Balita Cebu; Jesse Bacon of the Manila-based Tribune, educators Dr. Susana Cabahug and Dr. Eladio Dioko; retired Judge Benjie Cobarde and retired former executive labor arbiter Rey Belarmino and attorney-general Fritz Quiñanola.
Seares, Hormachuelos and former Cebu City Councilor Rudy Cabrera are members of UV Law Class ’63.
