THE Department of Education (Deped) Cebu City Division has declared no classes today in all elementary and secondary public schools to allow the students to rest after the Sinulog Grand Parade.

Private schools in the city have the option to suspend classes, said DepEd Cebu City Division Assistant Schools Superintendent Danilo Gudelosao.

“Those private institutions, especially those that participated during the Sinulog 2016, can also suspend classes. It is up to them (private schools) to suspend or not,” he added.

Gudelosao said, however, that make-up classes should be held this Saturday.
