Pantawid members to coordinate with local government unit for cash grants

After supertyphoon Yolanda affected thousands of families in the Visayas including the (4Ps) beneficiaries, the Department of Social Welfare and Development is locating all the affected beneficiaries of its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) who transferred residence to unaffected areas in the country.

This effort aims to update the beneficiaries’ data and information to ensure that they will continue to receive grants.

Most of the belongings of these affected beneficiaries were washed out including their Pantawid IDs, LBP Cash Cards and other documents during the onslaught of typhoon last Nov. 8.

Displaced beneficiaries may visit the local government unit (LGU) where they are currently residing and apprise the agency on their present whereabouts for them to continue receiving their grants, including children’s education and access to health services.
