Closure of Mandaue city slaughterhouse sought

Mandaue City Treasurer Regal Oliva recommended the closure of the city’s slaughter house due to its annual deficit.
Oliva said that for the past years, the deficit of the slaughterhouse located in barangay Mantuyong has reached P17 million.
“I have been recommending to the mayor that slaughter house should have been closed or should be run by a private company,” he said.
