Demolition team tears down five of 150 houses in Capitol Site

ONLY the rains prevented a demolition team from completing their job in sitio Sta. Cruz, barangay Capitol Site in Cebu City Wednesday.

The demolition team arrived early and dismantled five of the 150 structures in the area by 1 p.m.

Barangay Capitol Site chairman Manuel Guanzon prepared tents to shelter the displaced families whom he instructed to rebuild their homes after the team left.

A demolition order on the 150 homes in the area was issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) branch 19 judge Wilfredo Navarro.
