Motorbike theft suspect tries to escape, gets caught
A MAN who was arrested for possession a stolen motorcycle tried to escape as policemen brought him to the Fuente police precinct on board a motorcycle at 4 pm Thursday.
Wilson Baguio jumped off the motorcycle before it was parked outside of the precinct. He was seated at the back and ran towards the direction of the Fuente Osmeña rotunda but police caught up with him and brought him to the station.
PO3 Cliffon Manugora, desk officer of the Fuente police precinct, said Baguio was caught in possession of a stolen motorcycle during a police patrol in barangay Sambag 2.
The policemen brought Baguio to the Fuente precinct since their patrol vehicle was refueling at the city government depot at the South Road Properties (SRP).
