A MAN allegedly involved in stealing motorcycles was arrested in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City last Wednesday night.
Police said the arrest of John Francis Bacalso, 25, led to the recovery of four stolen motorcycles.
Bacalso admitted to the police that he had stolen at least 15 motorcycles.
“I stole motorcycles and pawned them to my customers so I could buy food,” Bacalso told reporters.
The arrest came when police acted on the complaint of Sheryl Jabanero.
Jabanero told police they were awakened by the revving of their motorcycle which was parked outside their house in Sitio Buhisan.
Jabanero said they checked the footage of the sitio’s security camera and saw the man driving off with the motorcycle.
Police were able to locate the suspect with the help of an informant.
Apart from Jabanero’s motorcycle, also recovered were an XRM (SZ 3827) motorcycle, a yellow Crypton and a black Honda Wave.
