As the Christmas season comes to the fore, a true-blue Filipino can’t help but recall several fond memories – pleasant moments as the family attends the simbang gabi (evening or early dawn masses) or heart-tugging stories of how lolo and lola beamed ear-to-ear as they joyfully extend their arms for grandchildren to greet them “’mano po,” (the act of placing an elder’s hand on one’s forehead as a sign of respect).

Best of all, the thought of savoring authentic Filipino cuisine and traditional rice desserts that has etched itself into the heart of every Filipino.

In honor of these timeless traditions, Port Restaurant dedicates its Port of Call for November and December to Paskong Pilipino.
