A day after Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Mar Roxas and running mate Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo visited Cebu province, it will be the turn of the Galing at Puso tandem of Sen. Grace Poe and Francis “Chiz” Escudero to visit the vote-rich province.

Poe and Escudero is set to visit Samboan town today where they will hold a breakfast press conference at 7:30 a.m.  At the rest house of Mayor Raymond Calderon.

The tandem will then proceed to Aguinid Falls between 9 a.m. to 10a.m.

This is the second time that the Poe-Escudero tandem is visiting Cebu.

Rep. Ace Durano of the fifth district of Cebu and the tandem’s campaign manager said their visit in Samboan will include meeting with local officials.

“Inclusive growth is the primary goal of Sen. Grace and Senator Chiz.  For Cebu this means increasing the income of farmers by improving agricultural productivity and bringing investments to areas outside Metro Cebu thru ecotourism development. They will visit Aguinid Falls in Samboan and Bantayan Island and consult with the officials and people to better understand the development needs of rural Cebu,” he said.

The tandem will then fly to Bantayan Island on board a private helicopter at 11 a.m. to also meet officials there, he said.
