400 willing to take bar exams in Cebu

ONLY 400 examinees from the Visayas and Mindanao areas signified their intent to take this year’s bar examinations in Cebu.

In a press conference, retired Court of Appeals Justice Portia Hormachuelos said they needed to identify 1,000 examinees before the Court of Appeals would allow the holding of the examination here.

But Hormachuelos, the dean of the College of Law of the University of the Visayas, is confident that they can meet the required number of examinees before the March 31 deadline.
