Police arrest Fiscal Castro for harassment

Cebu City Assistant Prosecutor Mary Ann Castro was taken into custody by the police for allegedly harassing the live in partner of her husband, Greco Sanchez, past 11 p.m. on Monday.

Maricel Gregory, said to be pregnant, was brought to the Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) Office in Camp Sergio Osmeña after she surrendered due to a pending arrest warrant on a libel case, said Supt. Rex Derilo, acting chief of Regional Intelligence Division of PRO-7.

Castro soon after arrived with four other men and allegedly destroyed one of the padlocks of the RSOG office to get to the woman.

Derilo said the Cebu City prosecutor allegedly tried to attack the woman, who could be pregnant and even hurt some police officers trying to pacify her.
