DESPITE being beaten twice in the elimination round, the Talisay Razkals saved their best performance for last as they defeated their tormentors, Don Bosco Liloan Team A, 5-2, to capture the under-15 girls’ division title late Saturday night in the 2nd Tayud Futsal Cup in Barangay Tayud, Consolacion.
Sheila Marie Estopito was named MVP after scoring 19 goals for Talisay in the entire tournament.
In the girls’ under-18 division, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) defeated Don Bosco Liloan FC, 2-0, to be named champions with Itsuko Bacatan earning MVP honors.
SHS-AdC earned their finals slot when they defeated the host team, Tayud FC, 3-0, while Don Bosco Liloan stunned the favored San Roque Football Club (SRFC), 3-1.
