THE UNIVERSITY of the Visayas Green Lancers continued to run roughshod over the rest of the field in the 1st Barangay Tabunok Inter-Collegiate Basketball League as they logged in victories over the weekend in the games that were held at the Tabunok Sports Complex.
Jun “The Hitman” Manzo exploded for 30 points to lead the Green Lancers to a 89-79 win over the Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats.
Jayson Balabag added 17 while Rey “The Flying Carpet” chipped in 13 markers to keep UV unbeaten in this preseason summer tournament.
UV also took care of the University of Cebu Webmasters, 77-61, in what was rematch of their finals encounter several days ago in San Fernando.
