Release of cash aid for seniors starts

Distribution of the P2,000 financial assistance for senior citizens has started at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Over 67, 000 senior citizens were expected to claim their cash aid from 80 barangays in the city.
Senior citizens of barangays Cogon Central Ramos and Ermita claimed their second financial assistance at the barangay’s covered court while those from barangay Senior Sto. Nino claimed theirs at the 2nd floor of the Brgy. Hall.
Distribution is also extended to 10 working days starting today.
For Wednesday and Thursday, the distribution will be moved to Plaza Sugbu and at the City Treasurer’s Office for the remaining days or until April 25.
Many senior citizens also flocked to the Office of the Senior Citizen Assistance at Cebu City Hall to address their concerns regarding the distribution of the P2,000 cash aid.
Many had issues regarding their payrolls and senior citizens ID.
