Man commits suicide in own home

A 40-year-old man committed suicide inside his rented house in Barangay Nangka, Consolacion last Thursday morning.

The son of Michael Gunia saw him hanging on the ceiling with a cable wire wrapped around his neck.

PO1 Cresenciano Saladaga Jr. of the Consolaction police said neighbors heard the Gunia and his wife Flordelisa were arguing since last week.

Saladaga Jr. said Gunia’s wife, who works as a helper in Cebu City, was already informed of the incident.
