Suson snatches three crowns in Cebuana Lhuillier tennis tilt
CEBUANO junior netter Marc Nicole Suson gave himself an early birthday present after he bagged three titles in the Cebuana Lhuillier Age-Group Tennis Championships on Friday night at the Santo Niño Tennis Club in Ubay, Bohol.
The 15-year old Suson, who will turn a year older on Monday next week, defeated fellow Cebuano Francis Hidalgo, 6-3, 6-4, to snatch the 16-under title.
Suson downed another Cebuano opponent Norman Joseph Enriquez, 7-6(4), 6-2, to seal the 18-under boys crown.
The University of Cebu (UC) ace Suson also joined forces with Hidalgo in copping the 18-under boys doubles where they beat Enriquez and Marc Pradel in the final, 8-6.
Suson will be back in action today as he is set to compete in the sixth leg of the Cebuana Lhuillier Age-Group Tennis Championships which is presented by Dunlop and Asiatraders Corporation in Talibon, Bohol.
