RISING junior netter Janus Ringia will try to bring his winning act to Mactan as he heads the field of stars in the Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala (PPS-PEPP) regional age-group tennis tournament at the Mactan Island Lawn and Air Base Tennis Club today.
The 16-year-old Ringia has been on a roll lately, winning the boys’ 16-under and 18-under crowns in Bicol last week. But an acid test awaits the South Cotabato ace as he is set to cross swords with the likes of Matt Palasan and Jonelle Llavore of Cagayan de Oro, Rey Toledo and Vhon Tudtud in both the 16-under and 18-under categories.
Cebuanos seeing action include Cesar Salimbangon, Kristin Salimbangon, Shedel Gica, Chad Connor Cuizon, CJ Thalia Suson, Bless Coderos and Kenneth Tenpre.
