Job fair at Mandaue City Sports Complex tomorrow

MANDAUE City Hall will hold a job fair at the Mandaue City Sports Complex tomorrow, Wednesday.

Mandaue City Hall Information Officer Roger Paller said the job fair which starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. will feature 16 overseas companies and more than 20 local companies that will hire applicants on the spot.

Tomorrow’s job fair is spearheaded by the regional Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Mandaue City.

Paller said those who pass the exam and the interview will be hired automatically.

The applicants must bring resume, photocopy of birth certificate, diploma or card (for high school graduate only), photocopy of transcript of records (for college graduate and undergraduate only) and certification of previous employment (for overseas applicants only).

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Mandaue City government will also sponsor trainings on housekeeping, welding, call center, plumbing, masonry and carpentry.
