A Japanese national was found dead inside his store in Barangay South Poblacion, Naga City last Friday.

PO3 Michael Villarmia of the Naga City police station said Akazou Amemiya was found with a gunshot wound in his head.

Villarmia said they were still investigating if there was foul play in Amemiya’s death.

He said that the victim’s stepdaughter found him lying on his bed with a gunshot wound in his head at 7 p.m.

In another incident last Friday in Dumanjug town, the body of a farmer was found floating in muddy water at Barangay Bulak.

PO1 Lorenel Labasa said Benjamen Enohardo, 54, was an epileptic and an inopportune episode could have caused him to drown in the muddy water.
Labasa also said that they saw no foul play in the death of the Enohardo.
