Developer Cebu Holdings, Inc. (CHI) will soon open another office tower designed for business process outsourcing companies within the 50-hectare Cebu Business Park.

Ayala Center Cebu Tower is a 19-story Grade-A building connected to Ayala Center Cebu mall.

It is one of the 11 buildings that are under construction within the park, which hosted 38 buildings as of end-2015.

“Ayala Center Cebu Tower is the ideal location for IT (information technology) and BPO investors looking to locate or expand in Cebu. It is the first of its kind in Cebu to have direct access to a wide variety of shops, services and dining outlets,” CHI president Aniceto V. Bisnar Jr. said in a statement.

The building is designed as an integrated part of the mall, with its retail and parking podium seamlessly connected to the mall design.

Of its 19 floors, 12 will be allotted for office spaces and two floors for retail strips. The eighth floor will feature a variety of food outlets. There will also be five podiums for parking spaces.

To keep up with the daily traffic of IT and BPO operations, the building will have 10 passenger lifts, two of which have direct access to the podium.

The building also features 100 percent power back-up and redundant cable risers which can accommodate up to four telecommunications providers to ensure uninterrupted connection.

In line with CHI’s sustainability thrust, the building is equipped with an energy efficient Building Management System (BMS). It has strategically located building cameras for security.

The building is located across the public utility vehicle terminal.

“Pedestrian transit connectivity is one of our focus areas in developing a project. Ayala Center Cebu Tower’s proximity to the PUV terminal gives added convenience to its workers,” Bisnar said.

CHI, a subsidiary of Ayala Land Inc., ended 2015 with all-time high consolidated revenues of P3.7 billion and net income of P827.2 million.

Other buildings under construction in Cebu Business Park are Tech Tower, which offers office spaces; BPI Cebu Corporate Center by Alveo Land, which offers professional work spaces for ownership; and The Alcoves by Ayala Land Premier, which offers 480 residential condominium units also on top of the mall.
