TWENTY-THREE mothers and young ladies have recently completed the Beauty Care Skills Training Program organized by Kepco SPC Power Corp. (KSPC) through the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System (ALS) program.
The month-long activity conducted by an accredited trainor of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) provided world-class competence in beauty care skills to the beneficiaries, and gives them livelihood opportunities to help improve their lives and that of their respective family.
These beauty care courses include nail care, hair styling and make-up, facial and massage, among others.
The 200-megawatt modern coal-fired power plant in Barangay Colon, Naga City has been conducting the Skills Development Training Program for its host communities as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
