A SUSPECTED drug pusher died in a buy bust operation by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Task Force (CAIDSOTF) in barangay Sudlon Dos, Cebu City early morning Tuesday.
Teodoro Cabriana alias Doroy failed to make it to the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) due to gunshot wounds.
Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado, CAIDSOTF chief, said they recovered P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs from Cabriana.
Avergonzado said Cabriana can dispose of more than a kilo of shabu in a week.
“Parents complained about his drug peddling activities near schools and these complaints were brought to our attention by barangay officials,” Avergonzado said.
He said Cabriana noticed the presence of police outside his home and ran inside, firing shots at the policemen.
Aside from the drugs, police recovered from Cabriana’s possession one .45 pistol with magazine and ammunition.
