A JEEPNEY dispatcher was shot dead at past midnight last Friday.
PO1 Jonel Ater of the Talisay City police station said that bystanders in the area found the victim, only known as “Ewoks,” slumped on the ground under the flyover with a gunshot wound in the back .
Ater said that bystanders heard a gunshot which seemed to have been fired in the vicinity below the flyover in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City. When they checked, they found Ewoks already dead.
Ater said no one saw who shot Ewoks, who was last seen sitting at the side of the road.
He said that Ewoks’ real identity has not yet been established since no one has claimed his body.
