JULES Asignar scored 24 points, 12 in each half to help the Sharks remain in the unbeaten zone of the Elite Basketball Club Cebu’s sixth season last Sunday at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.
The Sharks trounced the Jaguars, 84-76, and improved to 3-0 (win-loss) just behind the tournament-leading 4-0 card of the Rams. The Seahawks also own a 3-0 slate.
James Cabilino added 22 markers for the darkhorse Sharks while the Jaguars were led by Max Steinbach with 18.
In the second game, the Seahawks routed the depleted Stallions, 80-61 with Christian Gicain and Jolou Entrampas leading their offensive charge with 17 and 14 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Giovanni Canseko exploded with 26 points to carry his Wolves to their first win of the season with a, 76-70 conquest of the Falcons. Manuel Ponce finished with 21 points for the Falcons while Malvin Malicdem chipped in 16 markers.
