ABOUT P118,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from two women during a buy bust operation in sitio Superior, Barangay Looc, Mandaue City at 10 p.m., Sunday.
Amie Rose Galabo, a 30-year-old resident of the area and 23-year-old Miralyn Tantan of Rubina Road, barangay Paknaan in Mandaue City were arrested for violating the Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Senior Insp. Janelito Marquez, deputy officer of the Mandaue City Police Office- said they confiscated two meduim sized sachets of shabu from Galabo and two small packets of shabu from Tantan.
Marquez said they also retrieved one notebook and two cellphones. The notebook contains the suspects’ transactions. The two women are now detained at the Subangdaku police precinct.
