A 36-YEAR-OLD man was seriously wounded after he was stabbed for staring at the live-in partner of his attacker Sunday evening in Barangay Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City.

Carlos Abaluan, 36, of Purok Caimito, Barangay Canjulao was rushed to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center after sustaining stab wounds in different parts of the body.

PO3 Rudy Anagap, investigator of Lapu-Lapu Police Station 3, said that based on the accounts of the victim’s neighbors, Abaluan might have earned the ire of the suspect, Resty Pabahay, 30, of Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City after staring at Pabahay’s live-in partner while they were walking at the said place past 9 p.m. last Sunday.
