YAMAHA Motor Philippines, Inc. and the Yamaha Club rode together in Cebu’s streets for another adventure last June 4 and 5.
The Grand Touring in Cebu allowed riders from the different Yamaha clubs in Cebu to test some of Yamaha’s latest motorcycles: the NMAX, Tricity, Sniper 150 MXi and the FZi.
The activity was not only a simple ride along the beautiful scenery of the Cebu coastal roads but also served as a defining moment for the riders as the company’s brand ambassadors. An estimated 180 riders joined the ride.
The first day of the tour was a 134-kilometer ride from the Cebu KartZone in F. Cabahug Street, Cebu City to the Brumini Resort in Oslob town, southern Cebu.
After checking in the resort, participants were then treated to a short boat ride to the famous Sumilon Island right across Oslob.
Once in the tourist destination, riders got to enjoy the sand of the beautiful island. A fun program was also held with games and other activities that allowed each club to forge a stronger bond with each other.
Another program was held on the night of June 4 that further strengthened the camaraderie between clubs.
The next day, participants were then allowed to go whale shark watching, which is what the town of Oslob is known for.
At noon of June 5, participants then embarked for the return trip to Cebu KartZone, where the event culminated.
Present during the occasion were Yamaha Philippines officials headed by sales and marketing director Kaoru Ogura.
