THE Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Mandaue City Police Office is looking into a report that a sachet of suspected shabu was confiscated from a 10-year-old girl inside a Mandaue City school.

The illegal drug was allegedly found on the floor after the girl removed her shoe, said Senior Insp. Mercy Villaro, WCPD chief, yesterday.

However, Villaro clarified that they will still check whether the content of the sachet was indeed shabu.

“Ang bata, wa siya kita. Iya rang classmate nag-ingon nga shabu kuno. Basin bag-o pa ang shoes. Basin silica gel . . . (Unya) ang nakakita, di siya sure,” Villaro said.

She said she already spoke with the child and her mother.

The child told her that she removed her shoe because she felt that there was an insect inside it.
