TO serve Cebuanos great-tasting American-style dishes they have been most known for for two decades now, RACKS has finally opened their first store in the Queen City of the South through SM Seaside City Cebu.
RACKS, which stands for Real American Country Kitchen Style, is a household brand in Metro Manila known for serving the best flame-grilled, fall-off-the-bone ribs. The brand takes pride of using only the premium meat, special herbs, and finest ingredients in all their dishes, huge serving proportions, and affordable prices to ensure that all their customers come out happy and with satisfied tummies.
Their seventeenth store in the country to date, RACKS SM Seaside is a 200-square meter store that can comfortably sit around 100 diners. RACKS Philippines Managing Director Chukri Prieto said that it has always been the all-American style restaurant’s joy to serve families and host joyous bonding moments among cliques over delectable meals. “RACKS is a family-oriented restaurant and we have always been known as the go-to restaurant of families and barkadas,” Prieto said.
When asked why they decided to open their first expansion branch in Cebu, Prieto shared that they found the right market in Cebuanos and it was a timely opportunity that SM Seaside offered them a perfect location to do business. He also said that they are looking at putting up more branches in key locations in Cebu should other opportunities for expansion come.
Among their bestsellers that are distinctly American yet having a Pinoy zing to them are their Classic Pork Ribs, Baby Ribs, Hickory Smoked Chicken, Beef Ribs, Racks Sampler, and their signature fried chicken all of which, Prieto said, are made from scratch. Other specialty favorites are the onion rings for the side dish and the Mississippi Mud Pie for their desserts which will definitely spoil your sweet tooth.
What’s more, RACKS is the perfect place for corporate functions, events, and social gatherings. With their spacious area and their warm, homey resto atmosphere which was inspired by southern country American living, all events hosted here will surely be a hoot.
