Mayor Loot to show papers, refute allegations before dela Rosa
DAANBANTAYAN Mayor Vicente Loot said he will meet with PNP Chief Director General Roland dela Rosa later Thursday afternoon to present documents explaining his wealth and to defend himself from allegations that he is a protector of drug lords.
He said some of his documents include a recommendation for the post of provincial police chief in Region 11 from President Rodrigo Duterte and an updated copy of his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).
“Most of my assets are from my wife,” Loot said. He said he is willing to undergo investigation by the police. He will fly to Manila at 2 pm for his meeting with dela Rosa./UP Cebu Intern Maurice Villaester
