Jennylyn Mercado and Jonas Gaffud
KAPUSO actress Jennylyn Mercado was recently spotted with beauty queen trainer and manager Jonas Gaffud of Mercator Artist and Model Management.
On his Instagram, Jonas posted a photo with Jennylyn during one of their sessions together.
“Yesterday’s session with the beautiful and talented actress [Jennylyn Mercado],” he said in the caption, followed by the hashtags #poise and #training.
In a GMA interview, Jennylyn revealed that she went under “modeling training” as part of her preparation for upcoming projects.
“Ako na ’yung pinakapangit na maglakad sa industriya. Kailangan ko talagang mag-aral ng tamang posture at walking, nang naka-heels. Kailangan ko rin sa isang project,” she said.
The Ultimate Star said that it was an honor to get coached by the renowned beauty queen trainer.
Jonas has been known to mentor the country’s international beauty contestants including 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and reigning Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina, who is said to be in a lot of pressure to make a back-to-back win at the international pageant.
“Masaya talaga! Kahit isang beses sa buhay ko, masasabi kong nakapag-train ako with a beauty queen maker,” she said.
