Liloan drug bust yields more than P200K worth of drugs
THREE men, two of whom were suspected drug suppliers, and a woman were arrested while P150,000 worth of shabu and P185,000 in cash were seized in a buy bust operation in barangay San Vicente, Liloan town at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Julio Borromeo, a resident of Sitio Sambag, Barangay San Vicente in Liloan town was the target of the buy bust operation.
Borromeo, his common-law partner Naneth Barbon and two men identified as Jury Roble and Chistopher Pocot were arrested at his home.
Roble and Poot, both residents of Canduman, Mandaue City, supposedly supplied shabu to Borromeo.
Police seized from Borromeo nine sachets of shabu, P1,300 cash, P200 marked money, and one .38 revolver.
They also seized from Roble and Pocot 12 small sachets and two big packs of shabu worth P141,600 and P185,000 cash proceeds.
Roble and Pocot surrendered to the Canduman police precinct during their Oplan TokHang a few days before Thursday’s operation.
