Two drug suspects shot dead in Lapu

TWO men died in separate shootings in Lapu-Lapu City.

Jerome Daitol, a 29-year-old resident of sitio Sangi in barangay Pajo died on the spot after sustaining two gunshot wounds in the back inflicted by a motorcycle-riding gunman.

Daitol was sitting on his motorcycle parked beside the road when the shooting occured.

Police fund spent shells from a .9mm pistol at the crime scene. Daitol was in the city police’s drug watchlist.

An hour later, another drug suspect identified as Antolin Amistoso was shot dead in sitio Sudtunggan, barangay Basak.

The 40-year-old Amistoso was a noted drug dealer who surrendered during an Oplan TokHang done in the area.

Amistoso was walking in the interior portion of barangay Basak when he was shot by unidentified men.
