A FIRE burned down six houses at A.S. Fortuna street in sitio Sampaguita Barangay Banilad, Mandaue City at 4:55 pm Monday.
SFO2 Cipriano Codilla Jr. of the Mandaue Fire Station said the fire started at the two-storey house of Francisca Fegarido and it spread to neighboring houses.
He said they received a report that a construction company was doing welding work at the back of Fegarido’s house. No one was hurt. Damages were pegged at P350,000.
