Police hunt top supplier who escaped dragnet
The high level drug pusher who was allegedly the source of the shabu which was confiscated from the house of a certain Marvy Palay escaped Friday nights’ drug operation.
The operation conducted by the Lapu-Lapu Police scored the biggest drug haul in Central Visayas, with one kilo of shabu valued at P11 million.
The unnamed high level pusher is now the subject of pursuit operations, the reason why Acting Lapu-Lapu City Director Senior Supt. Rommel Cabagnot declined to reveal his name.
They believe this high level pusher also got his supply of illegal drugs from Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz before he died. The police also believe that Jaguar still had stocks of shabu, which until now are being distributed to low level pushers.
Early this month, the top two and top three high value targets in the police drug watch list surrendered to the Lapu-Lapu Police and brought with them ten of their men who were allegedly drug pushers. They also surrendered two .45 caliber pistols.
Rasul Pabilla, who is number two in the list, promised Cabagnot his cooperation. He also promised to provide the police with information against other drug pushers.
Pabilla’s group allegedly supplies drugs in Lapu-Lapu City together with the high level pusher who is now subject of a police manhunt.
No charges were filed against Pabilla for lack of evidence.
Marvy Palay, a.k.a. “Tata” who was arrested last Friday evening with P11 million worth of shabu was known to be the right hand the high level drug pusher.
