NEGLECTED E-TRAIN

Netizens shared their thoughts on the hybrid train project of the Department of Science and Technology which had not been used since it arrived in Cebu in December last year.

Chris Goldsmith commented on Facebook: “The person who thought this project was a cool idea and let the government spend millions should be made to resign and pay the money back.”

Jhamz Undaloc said, “Good job! This is a good replacement of the old jeepneys that are causing traffic in the city.”

Topher Fabular shared, “The government should be using this vehicle instead of just parking it and letting it be destroyed by rain and heat. Are we just going to park this forever?”

Antero Gomez Jr. said, “The politicians in Cebu are so fond of innovating and initiating projects such as the hybrid train. But the projects don’t last long or become useless.”

Mario Abiabi shared, “If it fits in Cebu, then do let it move and be used by commuters. Go for it.”
