AROUND 2,000 runners will answer the starting gun in the sixth edition of the Gaisano Countrymall Anniversary Run that will start and finish at the mall’s car park on Sunday.
The running event is held in line with the 24th anniversary of Gaisano Countrymall. It will offer 5-kilometer, 10k, 15k and 21k distances.
The bulk of the participants will be joining the 5k distance, according to race director Joel Baring of Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE).
For two straight years, the Cure foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Cebu City that helps children who are sexually abused and oppressed, will be the beneficiary of the footrace.
