EVERYTHING is all set for the 2017 Cesafi beach volleyball tournament as the battle for supremacy in the sandy court opens this Thursday at Fort San Pedro.
Assistant tournament manager Jordan Paca said that all games which will run from November 30 to December 17 will be held at Fort San Pedro.
Opening day action will feature a titillating action in the men’s play as the defending champions, the University of the Visayas (UV) takes on the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) while last year’s finalist, the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) goes up against the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U).
In the lone women’s collegiate game, USPF will lock horns with the University of Cebu (UC).
The competition will still follow a single-round robin format with the top four in each division advancing to the crossover knockout semifinals.
