Bantilan, Uybengkee top Cetba monthly tourney

ROLAND Bantilan and Cynthia Uybengkee bagged the Bowler of the Month titles last Friday in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Friday Group tournament at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Bantilan topped the Men’s division by downing 1,066 pinfalls (213.2 average) in five games. Ging Francisco finished second (1,057) while Ronan Barredo came in third with 1,000 pinfalls and a 200 average.
Mando Despojo finished fourth (990) while Cetba vice-president Docdoc Gothong finished fifth (979).
Meanwhile, Uybengkee toppled 1,004 pinfalls to claim the Women’s crown.
Sonia Gakenholz was only five pins behind (999) to finish second while Cetba president Engr. Gretchen Tormis (984), Rose Camero (942) and Johna Calipay (874) rounded off the top five placers.
