THE WOLVES hiked their way to the semifinals of the Elite Basketball Club – Toledo Season 3 after preying on the Hornets, 89-70, last Friday night at the CEDC Multipurpose Gym in Toledo City.
The Wolves were on a mission as three of their players put up big numbers to help the team arrange a semis duel with the waiting Stallions.
Jordan Alicaway scored the game-high with 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds, Allan Lumbao flirted with a double-double with 18 markers and nine rebounds and Alique Visitacion also had his fair share of a good harvest with 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for the Wolves.
Jenieshes Habasa led the Hornets in their final game of the season with 20 points while Mario Razonable and Clavar Saludar chipped in 17 and 12, respectively.
The Wolves will now face the number two Stallions in the next round slated on March 16 with the latter holding a twice-to-beat edge in their series.
