Rupinta slay informants receive cash rewards
Team Rama officials gave cash reward worth P300,000 to the three informants of the murder of Ermita Barangay Captain Felicisimo “Imok” Rupinta.
Cebu City Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella and Councilor Joel Garganera personally gave the cash reward to the informants.
Labella said that the ball is now in the hand of the Prosecutor’s Office to decide on the information given by the informants.
Labella added that they will no longer give another reward money if there are other informants.
Cheif Supt. Franklin Moises Mabanag, Deputy Regional Director for Administration said the police are doing their job to resolve the murder, such as the filing of the case against the suspects and the mastermind.
Meanwhile, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña welcomed the giving of reward money to the informants who identified the assailants.
Osmeña also said that his opponents wanted him to be identified as the mastermind.
He alleged that the real suspect is the common-law wife of Rupinta.
