The Consolacion Sarok Weavers remained unbeaten in the north division bracket 1 after crushing Cordova, 104-83, in the ongoing 2018 Governor’s Cup Inter Cities/Municipalities Basketball Tournament at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex on Friday night.

The Sarok Weavers improved to 4-0 (win-loss) to brighten their chances of advancing to the next round.

Only the top two teams after the classification round advances to the quarterfinal round. There are six teams in the north division bracket 1, which means each team plays five games.

Danao also solidified its chances of advancing as it currently has a 3-0 card after logging a default win over Carmen at the same venue.

Carmen lost the game automatically since it was wearing the wrong set of uniform.

The host team, Mandaue City, also remained in contention as it improved to 2-1 after manhandling Compostela, 86-62, in the same bracket.

In the north division bracket 2, San Francisco overwhelmed the hapless Tudela, 110-50, at the Borbon Municipal Gym.
