Larsian admin seeks persmission to allow vendors to use city owned parking lot
Larsian’s stall owners seek for a temporary relocation when the P1.8 million rehabilitation of the famous barbecue strip in starts in July.
“Magpatabang sila kon asa sila mobalhin. Misaad ko nila nga motabang ko (They asked for help as to their relocation. I promised them that I will help them),” he said.
He said he is eyeing to relocate them to the city-owned parking area along Fuente Osmeña.
Herrera said he will ask for the permission of Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña to allow the stall owners to occupy the lot when the renovation starts.
Meanwhile, Herrera said that food handlers and other staff are required to undergo a training by Cebu City Health Department.
These trainings include customer service, food handling, and food sanitation.
Larsian will be closed for two months, between July and August, to pave way for the construction of a drainage system and address sanitation problem.
