BUSINESS in Golf 2018, one of the highlights of this year’s Cebu Business Month celebration, tees off at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club on Thursday.
A total of 25 teams are expected to take part in the four-man team event, where each squad will be composed of two best-ball pairs.
The format requires one pair from each team to play together and the better net score will count for the particular hole. The total score of the two pairs will be the team total.
The Modified Stableford Scoring System will be used and the June 2018 handicaps will be applied.
Players, whose club does not belong to the Unified National Handicapping System (UNHS), must submit a club certified handicap prior to teeing off.
Entry fee is pegged at P12,000 for each team and this already covers the green fee, golf cart, insurance, giveaways, dinner, and raffles.
At stake for a hole-in-one on hole No. 8 are a six-night stay at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa and a roundtrip ticket to Korea from Air Busan.
Prizes at stake will be for the top three teams as well as the player with the best gross and the best net score.

This is the third straight year that the tournament is hosted by AVGCC. /
