THE DREAMSCAPE Lions continued their dream start to their maiden season in the Evo League of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball after they trounced the Optum Knights, 65-51, last Saturday at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.
The Lions got another beastly performance from Ralph Belarmino, who tallied 34 points to go with 10 rebounds and four assists to help the team improve to 3-0 (win-loss) and tie Kyocera for the lead in the standings.
In other Evo League matches, Contact Solutions and CTC-BPO grabbed their first wins of the season.
Contact Solutions blew out SSI, 81-65, behind the efforts of Jason Bancale and Jerard dela Cerna, who had 15 and 14 points, respectively.
CTC-BPO, on the other hand, crushed Bombardier, 48-31.
Mark Gellez paced CTC-BPO with 14 points, five rebounds and four steals.
Contact Solutions improved to 1-2 while CTC-BPO is now at 1-1.
In the Elite Classic division, the Teleperformance All Stars trounced the reigning champions Convergys Converters, 59-53.
Mon Dico was the man of the hour for the All Stars as he collected 16 points, seven board and four steals.
