THE ACCENTURE Sharks did not waste time in getting back on the winning track as they dropped the Telstra-Teletech Boomerangs, 85-64, in the Elite Classic Division of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.
The Sharks came from a 73-79 loss to Convergys, their first in this tournament. With that on their minds, Accenture ripped apart Telstra from start to finish to claim their seventh win against a lone loss.
Sherwin Resilla had 14 points along with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Boomerangs dropped their ninth game in a row and remains without a win this season.
In the Evo League, the Kyocera Frontiers clobbered the Author Solutions Philippines Inc. (ASPI) Hardbacks, 76-41, to bump their record up to 5-1 (win-loss).
Ariel Edera piled up 20 points, 11 boards, seven dimes and three steals in the easy win.
The Dyninno Jets on the other hand, bested the Bombardier Grey Wolves, 72-56, while the Shearwater Health Crusaders eked past the CTC-BPO Panthers, 61-58.
Dyninno is now at 3-1 while Shearwater improved to 2-4.
