THE region’s premier lifestyle destination will host “Musings on Women,” a painting and photo exhibit paying tribute to women from all walks of life from November 24 to November 26 at the Activity Center.
This is part of Zonta Club of Cebu II’s 18 Days of Activism campaign to end violence against women.
The photo exhibit and competition will continue from November 27 to December 2 at Level 2 near Bo’s Coffee and iStore. It will present the entries of more than 25 contest finalists featuring black and white photos of Filipino women in various fields in society.
Mall-goers can cast a ballot at the exhibit for their entry in the People’s Choice category or vote in Zonta Club of Cebu II’s Facebook page for their best photos. Winners will be announced at a symposium on “Redefining the Meaning of Gender” on December 10 at Bai Hotel, Mandaue City.
“Musings on Women” is presented by “Abay sa Kahayag”, the club’s project in partnership with the City of Mandaue and Ayala Center Cebu aimed at protecting women and children through public awareness campaigns. /PR
