Iza Calzado and Ben Wintle
MORE than a year after their engagement, actress Iza Calzado and British businessman Ben Wintle have tied the knot last Wednesday, December 19.
Friends of the couple shared pictures of their beach wedding ceremony held in Coron, Palawan.
Among the attendees was acclaimed director Mark Reyes who worked with Calzado in 2005 for the hit fantasy series, “Encantadia.”
“Finally captured on my camera the newly wed,” Reyes captioned his Instagram post.
Calzado and Wintle have been together for five years before they announced their engagement in October 2017.
Karylle Tatlonghari, Sunshine Dizon, and Diana Zubiri—Calzado’s “Encantadia” costars—were also present during the wedding.
An Instgram story shared by Vicki Belo showed Tatlonghari sang Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” during the reception.
Zubiri also uploaded a photo of Calzado and Wintle during their exchange of vows.
“Congratulations Benjamin and Izadora,” she said.
Just like Zubiri, Dizon also uploaded a photo of the couple on her Instagram account.
“Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wintle,” the caption reads.
Calzado with Tatlonghari, Dizon, and Zubiri played the roles of four Sang’gres in “Encantadia.”
The four actresses have reunited since last year for an upcoming film under Sang’gre Productions.
Aside from the “Encantadia” stars, other personalities spotted in the wedding were Tim Yap, Scarlet Snow Belo, Hayden Kho, Rajo Laurel, Bianca King, Ogie Alcasid, and Divine Lee Go.
