CEBU CITY, Philippines – Spoilers have quickly circulated online as the first episode of hit series Game of Thrones  season eight premiered on HBO on Monday, 9 a.m Philippine time.

Winter has come and GoT fans are talking about the first episode on social media. Some even shared their thoughts on the first episode while others, who are yet to first offering of season eight, are whinging against spoilers.

The long-awaited season recorded 17.4 million viewers who watched the first airing of the series on television and online and topped the 16.1 million views for the season seven premiere and the 16.9 million on the season finale, according to HBO.

“For years I’ve lived with the question: how is game of thrones going to end? And its just surreal that 2019 is the year I find out ones and for all,” Ayesha Lynn posted on Twitter.

“GOT TOMORROW PLEASE DONT SPOIL ANYTHING,” said @zxynjasf.

“My favorite scene in GOT S8E1. Dragon be like “Snow, How dare you kiss my mom?” said Unibadan_efiwe in a Twitter post.

GoT fans are looking forward to the next GoT season eight episode that will be aired next week, Monday, 9 a.m Philippine time.
